In Kids Do It All, faculty and students from music, theatre, dance, and art, guide camp participants in writing, designing and composing musical plays entirely of their own devising -- in a practicum that teaches acting, movement, voice, props and scene design, and songwriting.
Memorial Day May 27
University offices will be closed and no classes will be held on Monday, May 27, Memorial Day. This federal holiday honors all men and women who have died in military service for the United States.
Parachutes into apparel - Now through Aug. 15
The Fall-to-Flight exhibit includes student designs constructed from recycled military parachutes, as well as a 1945 wedding dress made from a WWII parachute and a 1946 prom dress made from a protective tunic worn by an airman.
Sculpture classes for youth start July 29
This summer, Judy Sawyer-Voss, an instructor in CSU's School of Education and an art teacher with over 30 years of experience in the Poudre School District, will teach classes in sculpture.
Household Hazardous Waste Collection Sept. 7
Plan ahead for the next, free household hazardous waste collection event to be held on the CSU campus. We'll be collecting items such as paint, pesticides, and cleaning products. Bring your hazardous household products to us and and we'll safely dispose of them for you.
