Colorado's amazing 14,000 foot peaks make this the highest average state in the country.
Our 54 fourteeners attract thousands of excited mountain climbers each year, but many fail to summit or worse, get exhausted or injured trying.
Join experienced outdoor leaders from the Outdoor Adventure Program in Campus Recreation for an evening presentation on these remarkable peaks, how to plan a successful attempt, and some safety tips.
Wednesday, April 8 @ 7:30 p.m.
Horsetooth Lounge, Student Rec Center
Free to all
Handouts about the mountains, trip checklists, and other information will be available.
