Join the Warner College of Natural Resources for the annual "NR Days" celebration! Activities are organized for the campus community to celebrate Colorado State University's current and historical dedication to our natural resources and the environment.
Tuesday, April 145:30 p.m. Conservation Enforcement Careers Panel, Natural Resources Building Room 109
Students often overlook conservation enforcement careers because they think they’ll be a cop. Not so!
While law enforcement is a part of the job, 95 percent of people encountered are simply enjoying the outdoors. Fish & Wildlife departments, parks, county open spaces, and others in charge of conservation are hiring for these positions.
The panel will share benefits and ways conservation enforcement careers make a difference for the environment. This is a level three Outdoor Adventure and Education Justice workshop for the REAL Experience. All interested students are welcome to attend.
For more information, contact Bobby Kunstman at (970) 491-0444. The event is co-sponsored by SLiCE and the Warner College of Natural Resources.
