If you've worked with international students or taught English to language learners then this program might interest you.
Join us on Thursday, April 16, at 7:30 p.m., Lory Student Center (rooms 214-216) for a special evening with Eli Hinkel from University of Washington, a speaker for TESL/TEFL Advocacy Week.
Hinkel, author of many books on language teaching/culture, will address the topic of "What Second Language Writing Research Tells us, and What It Doesn't."
Her talk is particularly relevant to any instructors working with international students, language learners as well as anyone interested in furthering their knowledge of linguistically and culturally diverse issues.
This event is organized by the TESL/TEFL Graduate Student Association, and it is sponsored by the CSU Diversity Grant, the Department of English, the CSU Community Literacy Center (CLC), and the Institute for Teaching and Learning (TILT).
