Orientation for new and transfer students

December 8, 2008

Are you beginning your college career at CSU this coming January? For those new to campus and Fort Collins, here are some pluses: 1) You can orient yourself by looking for the mountains; 2) You can drive for twenty minutes and explore foothills and canyons; and 2) you'll be attending one of the best universities in the nation. CSU was listed in the U.S. News and World Report's 2009 "America's Best Colleges."

Orientation programs help students

Spring orientation for new and transfer students is Jan. 15, 2009.

Orientation at CSU helps new students by easing their transition to a new educational institution. In addition, programs will help family members and guests learn a little more about Colorado State and our goals and expectations.

Whether you're new or just interested, you are invited to explore the programs that will welcome you to our academic community!

Orientation: A two fold purpose

Spring orientation programs offer:

  • the knowledge and tools for a successful start at Colorado State
  • a meeting with an academic advisor to plan for your spring semester courses (if needed)
