Introduction to Rock Climbing
Our favorite course! Learn the fundamentals of rock climbing in the nearby mountains on this one-day course. All technical gear included. Three Saturday sections: June 6, July 11 and July 25.
Snow Climbing in the Never Summer Mountains
Explore the world of mountaineering in this introduction to ice axe use and safety. This overnight course includes use of camping and climbing gear. One section: Saturday-Sunday, June 13-14.
Colorado Alpine Backpacking
Get high into the mountains of Colorado. Three days of backpacking will introduce you to the fundamentals of wilderness travel. Designed for novice backpackers - all gear included. Two sections: Friday-Sunday, June 26-28 and July 17-19.
Whitewater Rafting on the Poudre
Join the OAP staff for an afternoon of Class III-IV rapids on the Poudre River. Transportation and snacks included. One section: Saturday, June 20.
