Payton MacDonald performs at UCA

Composer, performer, and teacher Payton MacDonald performs his original music, Super Marimba! using looping machines and delay pedals. He has been described as an "energetic soloist," (The New York Times); ". . . engaging and utterly beautiful, (Sequenza 21).

MacDonald has been the recipient of many grants and awards and the featured performer at several festivals. Numerous ensembles have performed his music in the U.S., Japan, Canada, and Europe.
