Want to volunteer and have fun while doing it? Join TGIF! TGIF is a social group for teens in high school with disabilities.
In TGIF, CSU students are matched one on one with teens on Friday nights for activities that range from bowling, going to a corn maze, mini-golf, movie night, karaoke, and there is even a prom at the end of the year, just for our participants.
TGIF gives students a real chance to foster relationships with their partners because it is a year-long commitment.
Please visit www.slice.colostate.edu/tgif.aspx for more information and to review this year's planned dates. TGIF expects commitment out our student volunteers, so if you are up to the challenge, sign up at the website above, or come and see us at SLiCE.
The application is due Sept. 11, so apply today. Come volunteer once or twice a month and go out and have fun on the town with amazing teens.
