The Office of Student Leadership, Involvement, and Civic Engagement is currently accepting applications for local alternative breaks. These are short trips that will occur throughout the 2009-2010 school year that will give you the opportunity to do an alternative break at a fraction of the cost of other alternative breaks.
The SLiCE office is currently accepting applications for local alternative breaks.
Local alternative breaks are a way for students to get involved in different social issues in the Colorado and surrounding communities. Three short trips will take place with the same group of 10-12 students throughout the 2009-10 school year. This is an opportunity to participate in an amazing program for a fraction of the regular cost of other alternative breaks. You will build community while supporting and serving others.
Applications are available from Sept. 4-25.
Please return completed applications to the SLiCE office by Friday, Sept. 25 at the latest. Applicants will be contacted to sign up for an interview time in the following weeks.
