The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures is pleased to present French Film Night on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at 7 P.M. in Eddy, Room 212. The film is free and open to the public.
The 2007 film, "Roman de Gare" (Crossed Tracks), directed by Claude Lelouch, is in French w/English subtitles, 103 minutes, and in color.
In the still of the night, three lives are about to cross -- a woman abandoned by her lover, a stranger awaiting his chance, and a best-selling author who imagines the thriller of the year.
Deceptively layered and intriguingly misleading, this highly anticipated new thriller from Oscar-winning director Claude Lelouche (A Man and a Woman) stars Dominique Pinon and Fanny Ardant as an unlikely pair caught up in a game with high stakes and deadly consequences.
