Edwin 'Eddie' A. Dahl, Jr., a Facilities employee for 38 years, died Oct. 29

Edwin "Eddie" A. Dahl, Jr., 84 of Fort Collins, died peacefully at home on Oct. 29, 2009.

He was born near Bricelyn, Minn., on January 28, 1925, to Edwin Alfred Dahl, Sr. and Hannah (Olson) Dahl. Eddie was survived by his wife of 64 years, Carol; daughter Susan (Steve) Pruitt of Lyons, Becky (Paul) McGraw of Fort Collins; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

WWII veteran, longtime CSU employee

Dahl was a WWII Veteran, serving in the Army in the Pacific Theater. He was then employed for 38 years at the CSU Physical Plant.

Tribute to Dahl:  Think of him today and laugh

One of Eddie's favorite activities was to laugh. His family wants s to encourage you to think of Eddie today and laugh. Eddie deeply loved, enjoyed and treasured all of his family and through that love he was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. His love will live in our hearts forever.

Funeral Service 1 p.m. Nov. 2

A Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Military Honors by the Fort Collins All Veterans Honor Guard. A reception will follow Interment at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery.
