Rocky Mountain Ice Showdown Nov. 5

The annual Rocky Mountain Ice Showdown has moved to the Pepsi Center! Come cheer on the Men's and Women's hockey teams as they take our on in-state rivals from University of Colorado Boulder.

Rams take on the Buffs in Denver

The event takes place Thursday, Nov. 5 with the women's game starting at 5 p.m. and the men's game starting at 7 p.m.

When you purchase you ticket, $5 will be donated to the Colorado State University Hockey Program.

Keith Robertson of the Rocky Mountain Collegian calls CSU Club Hockey "...the best spectator sport you're not seeing."

Tickets are only $20 and include the following:

• Lower level ticket for CSU vs. CU Mens and Womens club games
• An upper-level ticket, a $40-$53 value, to
  • Avalanche vs. Tampa Lightning on Dec. 11, 2009 or
  • Avalanche vs. St. Louis Blues Mar. 10, 2010
• No ticket or service fees to any game
• Free parking for the Nov. 5 games

Tickets may be purchased at the Pepsi Center this week or online at Avalanche.nhl.com.
