The Colorado State University Women's Association is a University affiliated organization with membership open to all members of the community as well as Colorado State University faculty and staff. The organization has a history of active participation in the life of CSU inspiring involvement in educational programs that foster intellectual stimulation.
"Women of Iran"Jean and Heidi Nash will offer a fascinating presentation based on experiences and insights gained during their recent diplomatic mission to Iran.
This program is free and open to everyone. CSU affiliation is not required.
Jeanne and Heidi Nash took advantage of an opportunity to join a study tour with the Seattle United Nations Association and spent two weeks in Iran in May of 2009. The tour was led by an Iranian-American filmmaker who had previously produced a travel film. Jeanne and Heidi met with mullahs and their wives, educators, and religious leaders and people on the street.
In Fort Collins, Jeanne Nash owns "Mundoville," a museum of miniatures and is a supporter of the U.S. Peace Corps.
