Marianne Gedigian's virtuosity has earned her a place among the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Pops, the Evening at Pops television broadcasts, and on movie scores for such films as 'Saving Private Ryan' and 'Schindler's List.' This Saturday night she'll perform in CSU's exquisite Organ Recital Hall in the University Center for the Arts.

The Colorado Flute Association, with the CSU Department of Music presents Marianne Gedigian for a Virtuoso Series Concert. on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 4 p.m. in Organ Recital Hall at the University Center for the Arts, 1400 Remington St.

Gedigian is associate professor of flute at the University of Texas at Austin and was a regular performer with the Boston Pops. Gedigian has recorded with Evening at Pops television broadcasts, and has been heard on several John Williams’ movie scores, including Saving Private Ryan and Schindler’s List. A MasterClass will also be held in the same location from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The masterclass is free. MasterClasses at Colorado State University feature the world’s finest performers in their genre, are free, open to the public and recommended for students of all ages.
