About Today

The mission of Today @ Colorado State is to provide the campus with a viable, online source of information about the University that is accurate, contemporary, easily accessible, thoughtful and entertaining.

Today @ Colorado State is an on-line publication created and distributed by the Department of Web Communications to provide a convenient, one-stop source of campus announcements, events, news and information. An electronic e-mail with Today headlines is sent Monday through Friday to Colorado State University students, faculty and staff, and off-campus subscribers.

Today @ Colorado State lists only University-related news or events sponsored by official and recognized University groups, organizations, or departments, including student organizations.

Only items submitted sent by members of the Colorado State University campus community will be considered for inclusion in Today @ Colorado State.  

Examples of appropriate content for Today @ Colorado State

• Campus News (announcements and news stories including people profiles, feature stories about research, announcements from the president, breaking university news)
• Events (all events must be submitted to the University Event Calendar to appear in Today @ Colorado State)
• Student Life (feature articles and news for students, student organizations, etc.)
• Working @ CSU (includes employee announcements such as HR and benefits information, training/development opportunities, obituaries, honors and awards, Everyday Heroes, etc.)
• Sports (stories and announcements about Ram Athletics and Club Sports)
• Alumni Corner (Alumni profiles, special event details, membership information, special alumni offers and benefits, and features to keep alumni connected to Colorado State)
