On behalf of Peace Corps Volunteers serving in 68 countries worldwide, I’d like to say happy holidays to you and your families, and best wishes for a prosperous 2010.
This past fall saw an additional 18 CSU students nominated for Peace Corps service, adding to the 45 from last year- this shows how many amazing applicants there are at CSU. I would like to encourage anyone interested in Peace Corps to visit the webpage www.peacecorps.gov for more information on the organization.
More immediately, I would encourage all seniors and juniors who are thinking about Peace Corps to apply NOW in order to help reserve your spot in the Peace Corps. Applicants typically depart ~9-12 months after applying, so plan ahead!
