Want to learn how to make food that is good and good for you? Sign yourself up for the C.H.E.F.S in Training Cooking Class series, sponsored by Nutrition Services at the CSU Health Network.
C.H.E.F.S. in trainingWhen you think of American food, you might think of fried chicken and apple pie. Delicious...and not so nutritious!
Join us for our American food cooking class and learn how to make healthier alternatives of these and other dishes. All of our recipes are quick, healthy, and inexpensive. Our cooking classes include some cooking instruction, along with hands-on cooking experiences.
Best of all, the class includes dinner! This class is part of our C.H.E.F.S. (Cooking Healthy Eats for Students) in Training Cooking Class series. Come have dinner with us and also take home a cookbook with all of our C.H.E.F.S. in Training recipes. There is a small fee for this class to cover the cost of food and the cookbook.
This class will be held on Wednesday, March 3 from 4:30-6 p.m. in Gifford, Room 239.
Please RSVP (so that we know how much food to buy) by Monday, March 1 by calling CSU Health Network Health Promotions front desk at (970) 491-1702.
