This training class is for beginners or those just getting into running. It focuses on building the strength, power and endurance needed to run the 6.2 mile / 10K run, leading up to one of the most popular 10K runs in North America, the Bolder Boulder, in May.
This eight week course includes group workouts, information sessions and weekly workout regimens. Say goodbye to your worries about running and sign up for 10K Training at the Rec Center Service Desk.
When: Mondays and Thursdays 4:30-5:30 p.m. March 22 – May 13
Cost: $40 per participant; must be a current Rec Center member
The Bolder Boulder entrance fee is not included in the class fee. Entering the race is not required to participate in the class.
This class is sponsored by Campus Recreation.
