Want to study abroad next year but worried about the cost? There is over $35,000 available in scholarships for CSU students studying abroad. Scholarship applications for Fall/year study abroad programs are due April 15.
As part of Colorado State's Internationalization Plan, The Office of International Programs (OIP) offers a scholarship program to support undergraduate study abroad.
Approximately 60 awards ranging from $200 for the summer, $500-$750 for a semester, and $750-$1,000 for an academic year will be granted by the scholarship committee.
Both need-based and merit-based scholarships are available from the OIP, CSU departments, affiliated program partners, and a wide range of other programs and sources. You can apply for as many scholarships you are eligible for. There is a lot of money available, so take a little time and apply for several.
You do not have to be accepted to a program to apply, but you will have to give proof of program acceptance in order to transfer funds to your student account if you are selected for a scholarship. Please see each scholarship for eligibility requirements.
To search for and apply for scholarships visit www.studyabroad.colostate.edu. The deadline for Fall/year programs is Thursday, April 15.
