Adam Smith, criminal investigator, CSU Police Department, will be presenting a two hour workshop on how to prevent or respond to ID Theft.
Time: 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
Day: Thursday, Jan. 29

On average it takes 600 hours for an individual to clear their name if they are a victim of ID theft.
The cost to clear your name is usually several thousand dollars out-of-pocket, before an attorney is hired. ID theft is an exploding issue around the country, with arrest rates averaging only 5 percent. This class will give you tools to limit the possibility that ID theft will affect the financial security of yourself or your loved ones.
