The author’s work must be from their undergraduate degree. If the author is not currently an undergraduate they must submit their work within one year after graduating. Submissions are accepted from students worldwide.
The mission of The Journal of Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Excellence is to print outstanding undergraduate research, scholarly articles, and creative works in order to make them available to the public and connect the worldwide community of college undergraduates.
Articles must be submitted by at least one of the authors of the manuscript, and the submitting author assumes responsibility for the article during the submission and peer review process.
Submissions should be uploaded through the website via the My Account tab. For assistance with or questions about the submission process, please e-mail questions.jur@gmail.com.
The deadline for the fall publication is Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010.
JUR is a peer-reviewed and undergraduate-operated journal. Faculty and graduate referees will also review all submissions.
Once an article is accepted, it is published online. Outstanding work will also be published in the subsequently printed JUR journal.
