To commemorate their long-standing tradition of excellence, the Colorado Gamma chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon—commonly known as SigEp—will host a 95th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, Sept. 25. SigEp is the oldest standing fraternity at Colorado State University and boasts more than 2,300 alumni members.
The celebration will begin with a tailgate event prior to the CSU vs. Idaho football game at Hughes Stadium on Saturday. Following the game, undergraduate and alumni members and their families will attend a celebratory dinner and recognition ceremony at the chapter facility, located at 121 E. Lake Street, across from the University Center for the Arts. Alumni from as early as the 1950s are expected to attend.
“This event represents a milestone in the history of our brotherhood, and we are proud of the role our fraternity has played in the history of CSU,” said Bijah Gibson, chapter president for SigEp and senior at CSU.
