White Nose Syndrome: Not your ordinary wildlife disease

The Colorado State University Wildlife Disease Association will be presenting Dr. Tom DeLiberto as their final speaker for the semester.

WDA presents Dr. DeLiberto

The Student Chapter of the Wildlife Disease Association presents Dr. Tom DeLiberto, National Wildlife Disease Coordinator at the United States Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service in the National Wildlife Resource Center, as their final speaker of the fall semester.

The seminar will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 7 at 4 p.m. in Natural Resources 113. Your new officer team will be announced at the seminar. Please come and support their endeavors.

Resolving wildlife conflicts

Dr. DeLiberto's group focuses on resolving wildlife conflicts that threaten public health and safety. This includes the development and implementation of a wildlife disease response system for emergencies, including natural disasters and disease outbreaks.

Our Student Mentorship Program was created in response to the Wildlife Disease Association's initiative to cultivate student interest in wildlife disease careers and to help CSU students with networking and career advancement.
