The Donald D. Banks Scholarship will provide financial assistance to military students (men and women) who have served in the military and who have served in a war zone and/or in combat. This is a new scholarship at CSU that will be awarded to two students at the start of spring semester.
The late Donald D. Banks attended Colorado State University from 1955-1959, graduating with a B.S. in Industrial Arts. Don served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He had several friends who did not return from the war.
Don established this scholarship fund to provide financial assistance to military personnel (men and women) who have served in the military and who have served in a war zone and/or in combat as defined by the United States Military. The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships to students with financial need.
There are currently 461 veterans on the CSU campus using the GI Bill.

Applications are currently being accepted for the Donald D. Banks Scholarship.
