The Rams and Cowboys renew their rivalry with the Basketball Border War! It's the 2011 Mountain West Conference opener for both schools, and the game will be televised live on The Mtn.
The Rams open MWC play at 10-4, the team's best start in four years.
The 10-4 men's basketball team will play the Wyoming Cowboys in the 2011 Border War Tuesday night at Moby Arena.
Since last playing at home on Dec. 20, the Rams have gone 5-1 on the road playing tournaments in Cancun and San Francisco.
CSU is No. 10 nationally in shooting percentage (49.6) and has two senior forwards — Andy Ogide and Travis Franklin — averaging more than 15 points a game.
For tickets, call 1-800-491-RAMS or purchase online at CSURams.com.
CSU students can attend home games for free during winter break.
If the Rams defeat the Cowboys, fans will receive vouchers good for $1 general admission to the next home game on Saturday, Jan. 15 vs. TCU. While students are away on break, the student sections will be used for general admission - the only way to get one of these $1 general admission tickets is to attend the CSU/WYO game and cheer the fans on to victory.

Senior Travis Franklin was named the Mountain West Conference men’s basketball Player of the Week for his performance in the tournament.
