Get ready to show your skills and tackle the Iron Ram challenge. The Rec Center is offering a new fitness incentive program.

It’s time to see where your fitness level stands amongst others and yourself, by participating in the brand new Iron Ram fitness challenge at the Colorado State University Recreation Center.
There will be seven different challenges that will confront every aspect of your fitness goals including:
By topping the charts among the array of physical and mental feats, you could earn the title of an official Iron Ram.
Testing will be done in two stages with a preliminary session in February to determine your personal standing among the challenges followed by a final testing phase in April that, after training hard during the semester, will show your true growth.
Upon final testing some will become Iron Rams and receive a t-shirt to prove it! The tests during the final session will be exactly the same as those in the initial one to insure validity and give concrete goals for each individual to work towards.

Everyone is encouraged to participate as a means to promote overall fitness and personal progress. Becoming an Iron Ram is no easy feat, so you should be prepared to give it your best and personally grow. Rewards will be given as you climb the ladder towards Iron status.
There is no need to register for the inital testing session; just arrive at the Recreation Center:
You may split your challenges up over the testing times or complete them all in one day. There will be no test repeats for scores; once you complete a challenge the score you obtain is your final score for the entire session. The Personal Training staff at the Rec Center will also be holding clinics on techniques to improve scores between the testing sessions to give you all the support you need to train correctly for the final tests.
