The Single Parent Nutrition Assistance Program is seeking single parents to take part in its pilot program.

The program's goal is to provide a volunteer grocery service to full-time student and working parents, which will ultimately allow them to prepare more nutritious meals and spend quality time with their children. In addition to the grocery shopping, the volunteer will be available to make nutritional food recommendations to the parent and assist in meal planning.
The program is scheduled to run for the duration of the spring 2011 semester. If you are a single parent and are interested in participating in this program, please contact Cassi Freed at (970) 769-0613.
