SACNAS extends an invitation to transform your life! Become a member of Colorado State University's award winning SACNAS "Chapter of the Year."

The SACNAS student organization is a “community of diverse individuals —from all educational and career stages; all fields of science, mathematics, and engineering; and all ethnic backgrounds, genders, and sexual orientations.”

Travel scholarships offered

Applications are being accepted for the Colorado Alliance for Minority Participation Travel Scholarship to attend the SACNAS National Conference, Oct. 27-30, 2011 in San Jose, Calif.

Improve your professionalism

Foster your professional development by attending the SACNAS National Conference:

• To build a national science, technology, mathematics and engineering (STEM) network of leading minority scientists
• Find mentors to support your professional development and build your career
• Connect with STEM students, faculty and staff about shared experiences
• Present your undergraduate or graduate research
• Gain professional development
• Attend scientific symposia sessions
• Meet nationally recognized leaders in the STEM fields
• Visit with over 300 employers and/or graduate programs

Come to an information meeting to learn more details:

• Feb. 23 from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. in 119 Eddy
• March 1 from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. in 105 Behavioral Sciences
