Sierra Designs-sponsored-athlete Eric Larsen is coming to Colorado State University to speak about his recent accomplishments.
The Outdoor Club will be hosting Eric Larsen May 4 from 7 p.m.-8:15 p.m. in 221 TILT. Larsen, an outdoor climber, successfully summited Mount Everest on Oct. 15, making him the first person ever to reach both poles and the top of the world in one continuous 356-day period.
Collectively known as Save the Poles, Larsen’s expedition ventured to three of the coldest, most extreme places on the planet to raise awareness about global climate change.
Sierra Designs will also be raffling off prizes at the event as well. For additional information, contact Michelle Driscoll at (630) 212-4939.
Sponsored by the Outdoor Club.
