Student-veteran study seeks volunteers

If you are a military veteran who has recently enrolled at CSU, we seek your participation in a research effort, A Longitudinal Study of Student-Veterans’ Transitional Literacies.

This study will follow student-veterans in the transition from active military duty to civilian/full-time student status.

If you are a student-veteran, we’d like to learn more about your existing and developing writing skills and reading interests. We hope to understand how writing has functioned in your personal and professional lives, how it develops during your time in college, and how you perceive its importance beyond college.

While there may be no direct benefit to you, we think that, through interviews and meetings with fellow veterans along with the occasional pizza party, this study may benefit participants in many ways.
