CREWS, a peer education group, is currently recruiting new members for the academic year. Applications can be completed online and are due by Sept. 19.

CREWS

Creating Respect and Educating Wellness for and by Students, a peer education group, is currently recruiting new members for the 2011-12 academic year.
CREWS is looking for candidates to:

• Meet and connect with new people and have tons of fun
• Share your own “life lessons” with other students
• Earn upper division credit hours
• Get the chance to participate in tailgate parties, facilitate classroom discussions and other health programs.

We are encouraging students from all life experiences, academic and ethnic backgrounds to bring their diverse perspectives to this unique peer education program.

Trained and certified

If you are selected, you’ll be trained as a certified peer educator in the areas of sexual health, alcohol and tobacco control. You’ll also earn two upper division class credits. Some of our past programs include:

• Is that a banana in your pocket
• Pour a Drink
• Hookah Myths
