A strong leader is able to effectively give and receive feedback. Even with the best of intentions, an important message can get lost and sometimes create conflict in an important relationship.

The Student Leadership, Involvement Community Engagement office is sponsoring "How to Give and Receive Feedback- A Skill for All Leaders" Oct. 19 at 4 p.m. in LSC 211E.
During this short but life changing session, we will discuss the power of effective feedback, how to say what we mean and ultimately work to get better results from friends, roommates, peers, employees and supervisors alike.
We will examine a number of tangible feedback techniques that attendees will be able to use immediately after the session. We will also practice an effective model for receiving feedback that aids in creating a humble and responsive leader.
