Writing for grad school workshop Feb. 25

Whether writing a seminar paper, a journal article, or a thesis or dissertation, graduate students face substantial writing challenges.

To keep those challenges from becoming obstacles, we present this workshop, designed to build graduate students' understanding of the writing situations they face.

This free workshop is open to graduate students in any discipline, but is also open to all members of the CSU community.

We will discuss graduate school as a process of becoming a member of an academic discipline as well as practical advice and resources for successful writing in graduate school.

The presenters are:

• Laura Thomas, Writing Center / Writing Across the Curriculum

This workshop will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009 at 4:30 p.m. in Eddy Hall, room 6. Please pre-register online.
