The Rams will face Texas-San Antonio on Monday and Manhattan on Tuesday at Moby Arena as part of the NIT Season Tip-Off.
The CSU men’s basketball team has earned two bonus home games for its fans, starting Monday night with a 7:30 game against Texas-San Antonio at Moby Arena.
The CSU-UTSA game is part of a four-game package to be played Monday and Tuesday at Moby as part of the NIT Season Tip-Off. The Rams play Manhattan at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. CSU has never played UTSA or Manhattan.
Other games on the slate include Fresno State-Manhattan (5 p.m. Monday) and Fresno State-UTSA (5 p.m. Tuesday).
CSU earned the right to host the four-pack of games by beating SMU last week in the first round of the NIT Season Tip-Off. The Rams had a chance to earn a trip to New York City for the semifinals but fell short against host Stanford. The games tonight and Tuesday are part of the NIT’s 16-team consolation round.
Because these games are not on the original schedule, they are not included in the season-ticket plan. Fans must purchase tickets separately. Tickets are $12, while students (any age, any school) can purchase tickets for $4. Each ticket includes admission to two games. In order to attend games both days, two tickets must be purchased.
Ram Club members will receive preferred seating in areas of Moby based on membership level and Ram Point rankings. Members at the Silver Ram level and above have the option to purchase courtside seating for $70 per seat during the tournament.
To join the Ram Club, go online or call 491-4666. Please note that Jr. Ram Club admission will not be available for this tournament.
Tickets can be purchased online, in person at the McGraw Athletic Center ticket office, over the phone by calling 491-7267, at the gate or at any King Soopers or City Market location in Colorado.
