CSU Day at the National Western Stock Show

Colorado State University employees, families, friends, and guests are eligible for discounted prices on reserved seating at CSU Day at the National Western Stock Show, January 14, 2012. The last day to register is Friday, January 6, 2012, at 5 p.m.

11 a.m. Rodeo

Don't miss your opportunity to join Colorado State University at the National Western Stock Show at the National Western Complex, 4655 Humboldt St., Denver. 

Enjoy discounted rodeo tickets, free CSU giveaways, and pictures with CAM the Ram mascots.  Your rodeo ticket includes entry to the Stock Show grounds, the 11 a.m. Pro Rodeo, mutton bustin’ competitions, entertainment and more.

Pro Rodeo

Bulls and broncs, cowboys and cowgirls – rodeo’s biggest superstars perform amazing feats of athleticism during each performance of our professional rodeo. Whether you prefer thrills and spills or speed and agility, the National Western’s ProRodeo is the event for you.

Stadium Arena Mutton Bustin'

Five to 7-year-olds under 55 pounds ride a sheep out of a bucking chute and into the rodeo arena. Like professional rodeo events, time and score count, but all of these aspiring cowboys and cowgirls receive a participation award from the sponsor. Anything goes, and usually does, as contestants cling to the back of thickly coated lamb as long as they can.
