Employers in the engineering and technology industries will be on campus Thursday and some actually have jobs to offer, say officials in the College of Engineering.
The Engineering & Technology Career Fair, which is open to all students and CSU alumni, will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Lory Student Center Main Ballroom. Nearly 90 employers will be in attendance at the fair and many will be looking to fill interview schedules in the days and weeks following the event.
Among the employers scheduled to attend are:
“Employer attendance is up 24 percent from our event last year and about 50 percent from our post-recession lows,” said John Durkin, assistant dean for Career & Professional Development for the College of Engineering.
“We are pleased to be hosting a record number of employers at the Society of Women Engineers’ Evening with Industry, which is a student run networking event the night before the Career Fair,” Durkin said.
The Career Fair is open only to students and graduates of CSU. Students from all CSU colleges are welcome to attend. For more information on employers who will be in attendance, visit the College of Engineering.
