The third annual Public Health Symposium is announcing a call for posters. This year’s symposium is sponsored by the graduate degree program in Public Health at CSU and the Center for Public Health Practice and will focus on redefining the public health workforce. The symposium will be held April 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the LSC West Ballroom. The poster session will be from 12:15 p.m.-12:50 p.m.
The symposium is taking a unique perspective on the future of the public health workforce and we want to use this poster session to highlight the diversity of fields within public health. This poster session is inviting anyone conducting basic, clinical, translational and community-based participatory research related to public health.
The poster session provides an opportunity to network, share research, meet potential collaborators, and participate in a forum bringing together local and national experts.
If you wish to present a poster for the 2012 Public Health Symposium, submit your abstract by March 23, 2012, to Kendra Bigsby. Posters prepared for other meetings are welcome. Submissions should include:
Posters should be no bigger than approximately 30 inches tall by 40 inches wide. Poster boards and tacks will be provided on the day of the event.
Acceptance for the poster session does not register you for the symposium. If you wish to attend the additional sessions of the symposium, please register.
