Spring is election season at CSU, and this year students have the choice between two teams: Regina Martel and Joe Eden, or John Dietrick and Max 'Moose' Muller.

To better help you make an informed choice when casting your election vote, check out this quick summary of each team and their platforms.

Regina and Joe: “Putting Students First”
  • Hold regular student forums in order to receive and utilize more student feedback, especially concerning the on-campus stadium and tuition and fees. Accountability reports will also be created so that students can have easy access to this information.
  • Enhance student resources, creating an online test file and creating a syllabi sharing website that will help students manage course workloads.
  • Improve campus Wi-Fi access.
  • Keep blue books free.
  • Outreach to residence halls and student organizations.
  • Improve the RamRide program.
  • Continue and improve the late night bus routes.
  • Help the senate and ASCSU go green.
  • Promote the use of the CSU bike library.

Dietrick and Muller: “Moving CSU Forward”
  • Get faster test results for students by investing in more ScanTron machines.
  • Continue free blue books.
  • Enhance teacher responsibility by creating a set of standards all teachers must adhere to in order to further help students.
  • Organize the test file and put it online.
  • Make textbooks exempt from taxes.
  • Promote and increase the Student Funding Board budget, which will allow for more programs for students to participate in.
  • Find a solution to the U+2 housing law problem.
  • Revamp the Ram Welcome to include all returning class levels, not just freshman.
  • Improve RamRide by increasing volunteer incentives, creating a football game pick up program and providing faster service.
  • Better alumni relations.
  • Facilitate communication about the on-campus stadium and ensure that it is created with the best interest of the students in mind.
  • Promote club sports and other student organizations.
  • Create a veterans memorial on campus.
