Fort Collins residents (commercial waste not accepted) can bring household, hazardous waste to a collection point on campus between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 2. Bring your household batteries, paint, pesticides, mercury-containing items, and more!
Saturday, June 2Colorado State will host the City of Fort Collins' Free Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day, open to all Fort Collins residents.
Residents can drop off unused or unwanted:
The City of Fort Collins is dedicated to environmental stewardship and wants to keep these hazardous materials out of the landfill and dispose of them properly.
We're unable to accept:
Mix Paints, a company out of Denver, will be recycling a portion of the useable latex paint collected into new interior and exterior paint for residential and commercial use.
