There are many benefits to walking: Increased life expectancy, less injury to joints and bones than high impact sports; prevention or control of coronary heart disease and diabetes; improvement of moods, and reduced risk of memory loss -- the list is long.
June 13-August 15Get out of the office and head to the CSU Oval in your comfortable walking shoes every Wednesday this summer between noon-1 p.m.
Take advantage of this fun, free opportunity to walk and talk with a registered dietitian or personal trainer from the Kendall Anderson Nutrition Center and ask them nutrition or exercise questions.
Starting place is the steps of the Administration Building. See you there!
