Updated: Donate toiletries for firefighters in residence halls

Housing and Dining is coordinating a Firefighter Donation Table in Westfall Hall to allow campus community members to donate non-refrigerated food items and toiletries to firefighters staying in the residence halls.

Update 1:45 p.m., Monday, July 2 - Donations for firefighters staying at Westfall Hall are no longer needed, now that the fire is 100 percent contained.

Update 12:45 p.m., Tuesday, June 26 - Please do not bring perishable food items to the residence hall as part of your donation.

Suggested toiletries include (but all donations are welcome):

• Travel-size shaving cream,
• Disposable razors,
• Toothpaste,
• Tooth brushes
• Travel-size shampoo and conditioner
• Travel-size soap

Food items (not homemade) also are welcome.

Items may be dropped off at Westfall Hall with a preferred time of 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Evening and weekend drop-offs welcome, but visitors may need to buzz the front desk if the front doors are not open.

No visitors will be allowed onto the floors housing firefighters and will only be allowed in the lobby. This is for the safety and security of firefighters and other CSU conference guests, and to ensure that the firefighters get rest.
