Art faculty members pursue active studio careers in addition to teaching students. Enjoy an extraordinary exhibition of their work now through September 15 at the University Art Museum.
Now-September 15An exhibition of works from 27 practicing artists who are also art faculty at Colorado State is open now through September 16 in the University Art Museum in the University Center of the Arts.
Admission is free. The exhibition can be viewed during museum hours:
Artists include: Natalie Barnes, Haley Bates, Scott Christensen, John Dickinson, James T. Dormer, Sanam Emami, Patrick Fahey, Suzanne Faris, Kim Ferrer, Paul Flippen, John Gravdahl, Dell Harrow, Gary Huibregtse, Mary Ann Kokoska, Marius Lehene, Kari Lennartson, Tom Lundberg, Christy Martell, Phil Risbeck, Ajean Ryan, Steve Simons, Doug Sink, Lee Sommers, Patrice Sullivan, Cyane Tornatsky, Gary Voss, and Dave Yust.

fibersTo celebrate these fine works, the University Art Museum will host a closing reception for the exhibition on Friday, September 7, from 7-9 p.m. The reception will take place in conjunction with the First Friday Gallery Walk.
Collaborations, Affinities, and Friendships: The Collection of Doug and Susan Casebeer, is open at the University Art Museum Tuesday, June 26 through Friday, December 14. Admission is free.
The Summer Mystery Art Hunt begins Tuesday, June 26 and continues through Friday, August 17. This event is free.
