Join hundreds of cycling enthusiasts in this year's new Ram Bicycle Classic on Sunday, Sept. 23, starting and ending on the Colorado State University campus in Fort Collins.
New date and new routesOpen to riders of all ages and abilities, this year’s RBC is being moved to the fall – capitalizing on the beautiful Colorado autumn weather with breathtaking foliage and mountain views along the foothills.
Multiple aid stations on each route will be fully equipped with food, water, restrooms and mechanical and first-aid support.
Rides begin at 7:30 a.m. for the 100-mile ride; 8 a.m. for the 65-mile ride, and 10 a.m. for the 35-mile and 11-mile family ride. The after-ride party begins at 11:30 a.m. with events wrapping up around 4:30 p.m.
Upon finishing the ride, participants are invited to join the after-ride party, which includes a complimentary lunch, beer garden, live music, and a chance to win a brand-new bamboo Panda bicycle. Families are encouraged to attend, and a kids bike safety clinic will be hosted before and after the ride by the Larimer County Bicycle Pedestrian Education Coalition.
RegistrationRegistration prices range from $15 for kids under 12, to youth and CSU student prices of $45, up to $65 for adults riding the 35, 65, and 100-mile routes. Kids under the age of six are free. Registration received after 11:59 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31 will cost an additional $10 for each adult category.
Registration includes a full day of festivities: the ride; a commemorative T-shirt; ride support; and, the post-ride celebration and lunch. Commemorative cycling jerseys also will be available for purchase. Register online.
