A new seminar on Aug. 29 will provide an overview of using the SpatialSTEM approach for teaching within STEM communities.
This 50-minute seminar, held at 4 p.m. Aug. 29, will provide an overview of using the SpatialSTEM approach for teaching spatial reasoning, map analysis and modeling fundamentals within a mathematical/statistical framework that resonates with STEM communities.
A follow-up short course will be offered (Sept. 7, 12 and 14; 1-3 p.m.) that will focus on infusing Spatial Analysis and Statistics into college-level teaching and research.
