Senior Law Day 2012

The $10 registration fee that admits you to the 8th Annual Senior Law Day entitles you to a copy of the Colorado Bar Association's 2012 Senior Law Handbook, a comprehensive book of all seminar highlights and sponsor resources, breakfast, lunch, four workshops, and the opportunity to interact with area professionals.

Empower yourself

Senior Law Day brings together accomplished and respected professionals to present informative seminars on legal and financial issues facing our growing senior citizen population in the Colorado community. Geared toward:

• Seniors
• Adult children with a senior parent
• Caregivers

A variety of educational workshops will be offered along with opportunities to socialize with other families facing similar issues. Legal and senior care professionals from the community will be present to facilitate workshops and offer additional resources.

What's included

For a $10 per person registration fee, each participant will receive a copy of the 2012 Senior Law Handbook (published by the Colorado Bar Association), a comprehensive book of all seminar highlights and sponsor resources, breakfast, and lunch, in addition to the four seminars and the opportunity to interact with area professionals.

Each participant may choose four workshop sessions to attend throughout the day:

• Estate planning overview: "Why plan? What happens if I die without a will?"
• A conversation about trusts and trustees
• "Got Dirt? Basic real estate law every senior should know and many more"
