Virtuoso flutist at UCA

Regina Helcher Yost has performed with the Knoxville, Honolulu, St. Louis, and Charleston symphonies and in Carnegie Hall and the finest halls in Europe. She will be at Colorado State on September 4 to perform in a Virtuoso Series Concert.

Regina Helcher Yost, a flutist and piccolo player from South Carolina, brings a wealth of experience to her solo and orchestral playing.  

She is the principal member of Charleston Flutist, LLC, is currently in her 12th season as second flute of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and 14th season as assistant principal flute/piccolo of the Colorado Music Festival in Boulder, Colorado.

Yost has recorded a fun CD of traditional holiday melodies joined by her talented pug dog, Winston. Part of the proceeds benefit Pug Rescue of North Carolina. Listen to a track from the CD.
