Do you love football? Do you love talking wtih students? Then join us for the fourth annual Football 101 program.
Football 101 is an opportunity for international students unfamiliar with American football to learn the rules and strategy of the game.
Volunteers are needed to attend a pre-game tailgate, and then watch the game with the students.
Saturday, Sept. 22
2:15 - 3 p.m. Set-up and Orientation at Ram Town
3 - 4:30 p.m. Tailgate
5 p.m. Kickoff/Football Game
Here’s a brief overview of what you’ll be asked to do as a volunteer:
Volunteers will receive a t-shirt and game ticket.
On Friday, the Football 101 class will be taught by Gary Ozzello, senior associate athletics director. This class teaches the basics of football - equipment, plays, etc. and the CSU Fight Song! Volunteers are welcome to attend this class, but it is not mandatory.
