Join instructors from the Outdoor Adventure Program to learn how to travel and camp comfortably in the winter. This weekend course will emphasize safe travel in avalanche country, building creative snow shelters, snow kitchen cooking, and tons of tips on enjoying the winter environment. Transportation is provided.
Snow Camping Weekend on Cameron Pass

Yes, there is still plenty of snow in the mountains!
All technical equipment is provided by the OAP, including snowshoes, warm boots, stoves, sleeping bags, etc. There is even warm layered clothing available to loan at no charge.
A pre-trip meeting is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 4 at the OAP office in the Student Rec Center.
Dates: Saturday and Sunday, March 7-8
Where: Cameron Pass, at top of Poudre Canyon
Sign-up deadline: Wednesday, March 4 by 3 p.m.
