The 2011-12 CSU Degrees Conferred report, produced annually by Institutional Research, is now available on the IR website. These and other data can also be viewed, manipulated and downloaded with the IR Interactive dynamic reporting tool.
For the Full Year 2011-12 a total of 6,615 degrees were conferred, up 439 from 2011-12. The University conferred 240 more bachelor’s, 178 more master’s and 10 fewer professional degrees. Some notable increases from last year include The College of Engineering conferring nearly 30% more bachelor’s degrees, while the College of Business bestowed just over 16% more master’s degrees.
In addition to providing the number of degrees awarded the report presents a history of degrees represented by numerous demographic profiles. Some of the items represented include; degree type, ethnicity, majors, department, and gender.
New this year, and in response to feedback from the colleges, degrees by advising college have been added to the report.
