The second annual Student Gratitude event on Wednesday, Nov. 7 aims to educate the campus community about the importance of private giving. It will also provide students the opportunity to thank Colorado State University donors who make their education possible.

Hosted by the CSU Presidential Ambassadors, the 2012 Student Gratitude event theme is CSU Heroes. The Presidential Ambassadors plan to show students that everyone who donates to CSU is a hero.
Students are encouraged to drop by the Lory Student Center plaza on Wednesday, Nov. 7 for:
What students pay in tuition and fees only covers about one-fourth of the total cost to operate CSU. As a result, CSU relies on various additional sources of funding, including private giving.
Students who attend the student gratitude event will have the opportunity to say thank you to the private donors who have given to the University in the past year by signing a personalized thank-you postcard.
The Student Gratitude/CSU Heroes event is co-sponsored by the Office of CSU Events and the CSU Presidential Ambassadors. For more information on the Student Gratitude event – as well as additional student philanthropy initiatives – visit the CSU Presidential Ambassador Facebook page.
